Welcome to 7th Grade Science!!

Nikki Rodriguez - 7th Grade Science

About Me:

I was born and raised in El Campo, Texas.  I graduated from El Campo High School in 2005 and the University of Houston-Victoria in 2008 with a BS in Interdisciplinary Studies.  I have worked at the El Campo Middle School since 2009 where I have taught Reading Skills, 8th Grade Math, 6th Grade Science, and 7th Grade Science.

I currently teach 7th grade science, and I am very excited about what we explore at this level.  7th grade science focuses mainly on life sciences.  We explore processes such as photosynthesis, and we examine single cells and even entire body systems.  We contemplate how life can or cannot survive in outer space and how catastrophic events such as hurricanes and tornadoes can have devastating effects on life in various ecosystems.  Ultimately, 7th grade is a very exciting year for students, and I enjoy the role that I play in each student’s education.
